Let’s Get Specific

In “Let’s Get Specific” by Beth Johnson, the author discusses about how going in depth in describing will allow the reader to be able to imagine and picture what a person is describing. I agree with this because whenever someone describes something to me in a vague way, I always have an urge of finding more about that something, since such a vague explanation disables me from being able to fully understand the description. Describing things specifically can even help a person gain a job, as shown in the article when the author includes several letters from people who describe themselves vaguely to people who describe themselves very specifically with many examples about their achievements.
